The best strings for the price!
I have been buying Curt Mangan strings for the past 4 years for all SIX of my basses! I used to run Rotosound strings exclusively but having the freedom of custom string gauges made me try Curt Mangan and I was FAR from disappointed. They are the same excellent sound as Rotosound 66 steels if not EVEN BETTER! Curt and all other representatives I've spoken with have been nothing but helpful! Even when I switched to my NG3 Dingwall bass they helped me get set up with the right configuration to cover that tricky 37" scale and 39.25" wound length. FAST SHIPPING AND AMAZING CUSTOMER SERVICE! So far I'm on track to be a lifetime Curt Mangan user.

I love the option to customize my down string gauges. I used different gauges and strings Nickle/Steel on different bass too bring out certain tones and feel of my basses and the set I chose works great I used a light gauge making it easy to flow on the fretboard with having to play hard to fret and even though they are stainless wound these string feel every flexible so no finger/hand fatigue without feeling like you are shredding your fingers and they sound great

I use 4 string basses with D-tuners, so I like a heavier E string to maintain tension in drop D. Buying individual strings to build my own set is a pain, not to mention more expensive. These are awesome! If you're not already playing these, you're missing out! Create the set you want instead of settling for what someone has sitting around!
