.011 through .048 plain 3rd
These are a near perfect Guage for open G tuning. To make them perfect (for me), I order a handful of .012's to go with each set. This gives me a somewhat slinky B string, to facilitate bending. Curt Mangan is a Rock Star, and I won't buy strings from anyone else. Cheers!
Guitar strings: nice one
always good, lasting results.

The best!!!
Nickel wound 11-48
These are the best stings I have ever used and because they are the best I have used them for a decade.
The best strings I’ve found
I’ve been searching for a few years for strings for my two electrics (An American Professional Strat in ash and a Gretsch G5420T). I’ve tried many brands.... EB, D’Addario, GHS, Dean Markley, Fender, DR, Pyramid, Thomastic etc etc. I haven’t found as good a sounding or feeling string than Mangan’s. I use 10.5-50’s on my Strat and 11-48 on the Gretsch. They’re perfectly balanced, bright without any harshness, stay in tune with trem use, intonate very well and last a long time. I couldn’t be more pleased.
Nickle wound 11-48
Started using them about 6 months ago and i can not ever see me switching back. Best stings I have ever used.
Awesome Strings
Just put this set on my Firebird. I couldn't be happier, simply awesome.
My top recommendation
These are the best feeling and sounding strings I've ever played. Balanced, warm, full feeling, and durable (I sweat a lot and they hold up well to my acidic hands). I tour and gig full-time, and Curt's NW strings are my go-to.
