My bass sounds sOooOoOooo much better with these strings onboard. I feel proud of the sound of the bass again and don't need to add any effects to get that great sound. For some reason, I had a dream about buying strings and some store offered me a pretty good deal on a package of 6 sets of strings. In my dream, I literally turned the guy down cause I was going to reorder Curt Mangan's!!! You can brag about these.

Well, I got these strings, put them on my bass, and was greatly disappointed. Disappointed because I didn't suddenly PLAY like Brady Muckelroy! Seriously, though, I like these strings a lot. I like the feel under my fingers - there's a smoothness to them that makes me want to play them and try things I haven't before. I don't know how else to describe it - they're just really playable. I'll be ordering these for my other basses, too.

I have bought Mangan strings twice in the past - that's why I keep coming back to them! I received these Muckleroy sets and immediately put one on my Ibanez fanned fret 6-string. Punchy, crisp and a good bite in tone. Well-balanced set - I did not even have to adjust the bridge intonation after installing them. Am going to restring my Jerzy Drozd 7-string with one of the other sets and hear how they sound on it! Mangan strings rock!!!
