Jason "Slim" Gambill - Lady A
Jason “Slim” Gambill is the lead guitarist for multi-platinum Capitol Nashville recording artist Lady Antebellum, whose self-titled debut album has sold over 1.5 million copies since its release in April of 2008 and on which Jason shares a writing credit for “Slow Down Sister”. When not on the road with Lady Antebellum or Warner Brothers recording artist Tyler Hilton, “Slim” is a highly sought-after songwriter and sideman in the Nashville music scene. He has done sessions for some of the biggest names in country with producers like Dann Huff (Rascal Flatts, LeAnn Rimes, Keith Urban) and Paul Worley (Sara Evans, Martina McBride) and has found himself onstage with John Mayer, Macy Gray, Maroon 5, Marc Ford of the Black Crowes, and countless others.
When asked about the product, Jason raves “Curt Mangan Strings give me fantastic tone and response, set after set…When we’re in the dead of summer playing sweaty amphitheatres and fairs, they still maintain their integrity, tone, and intonation.”
He adds, “Without a doubt, I would recommend Curt Mangan Strings to other players. They’ve come through for me time after time. They’ve survived some serious beatings, and still do!”
