I have been using these and many other type strings Curt has been making for many years. I have a lot of different guitars and other stringed instruments. I have found no better strings than Curt's, and I have been playing for over 40 years and I'm pretty sure I've tried most all of the other strings made. I am really happy to support a very good American made product.

I’ve been using a standard 10 set on my electrics forever. Curt’s are the best I’ve found and at this price range they really can’t be beat. The bonus is that they last a long time. I do have a Tele which tends to like his pure nickel set. Adds a little more warmth to a very bright guitar. Can’t go wrong with Curt’s strings. Big fan!

For years I had been using Curt Mangan 11-54 , but had developed a significant amount of cramping in my left fingers & wrist. Sometimes after only 1/2 hour of play. So I decided to try going back to a 10-46, but was very hesitant because of rich tones I was getting on the 11’s, but fears & prayers have been answered. If anything, my tone has improved because of no cramping. These string sound amazing, my right choice.

I tried Curt Mangan strings last summer and found them to be great sounding, durable, excellent strings on my Gibson ES339. After meeting Curt in Cortez, Colorado, he convinced to try playing a Strat again - I've been a Gibson guy for a long time. Well, he was pretty convincing and I have another Strat on my hands and these are the only strings I'll put on it.

I can't seem to express qualitatively or quantitatively what it is is but ever since I started using the Mangan strings years ago, they have been my preference, I don't use anything else, haven't for a long time

These are really awesome reliable strings! Great overall tone and I've never broken one. They also have excellent quality and great customer service if you ever need to contact them!

I recently put a set on a PRS S2 Standard 24 with Fralin Unbuckers. They gave the guitar a brightness that the previous strings had lacked, and they add distinction of the coil-tapped to full pickup sounds. They are new, so I can’t speak to durability, but so far so very good.
