Great strings with real presence, balance and touch. Home at last!

I have gone thru strings from all of the major manufactures and found that these are the best sounding, most consistent of the lot

Nice balanced tone. Cuts yet retains warmth. They can take a beating, they stay in tune and they feel great! I think I've found my new favorite string!

I've been using the same brand of strings for over 20 years and every once in a while I try a different brand. I always go back to the other brand, but recently I tried Curt Mangan strings and I have found my new strings! Love the feel, tone and the longevity that these strings bring. I won't be switching back to the other brand this time!

I recently took a leap of faith and bought a six pack of 10-46 nickel wound strings from you all. First, they arrived very quickly! I was quite impressed by that. I installed a set on my Gibson Firebird. They stretch quickly, intimate well, but best of all they sound great. My only gripe (and not a major one at all), is that I would rather purchase strings that have a vacuum sealed package. I live in the south, and feel that the old style packages allow too much moisture in due to our always high humidity. Other than that, the strings sound and feel great. At maybe a few cents more per pack for these, that makes the decision easy to buy these over the big brands. Thanks!

I have only used these strings for one gig so far but I love them. They have great tone and are extremely easy to play!

The headline for this review pretty much sums up my experience with Curt Mangan strings. Curt's customer service is top notch and he will go out of his way to make his customers happy. I really like these strings, they provide a very nice and balanced tone, I really like that the highs are very crisp, but not harsh sounding. As far as durability goes, they last just as long as any other good string out there. I have Curt Mangans on all three of my guitars, a Gretsch Power Jet, Thinline Tele w/ P90s and a Strat. What I really like about these strings is that they help bring out all the character of each different type of pickup that I use. If you are second guessing yourself as to whether you should try Curt's strings or not, I'd say go for it, you won't regret it.
