Phosphor bronze wire is made from approximately 92% copper, 7% zinc and 1% phosphorous. It took several years of trial and error to develop a proprietary string coating that resists tarnish and corrosion without compromising tonal quality. Phosphor Bronze provides nice highs and lows with pleasant subtle overtones. Phosphorous is used to help reduce tarnish and corrosion.

11-52 Coated 12 String
30 years acoustic, 6 months 12 string experience. I was looking for something to take out the tinney - wango tango of the upper E and B strings and I found it. They just chime sooo sweet. Extremely comfortable too. After a few hours these seem a little much for bar chords up the neck with hands fast approaching 70 - so I ordered a set of 10 - 48s today. If they play as sweet I'll no doubt be looking at CM strings for my Gibson 335 and maybe even my 30 year old Larivee. I was just that impressed - and that just doesn't happen.
