These Strings are Awesome!
Curt Mangan's strings are truly the best string for the money because it's what they don't put into the string that really counts. Nothing but the best goes into these strings and it shows. The strings not only outlast other strings, but gradually break in evenly, not abruptly and then wear out quickly. My strings usually last 2-3 times the average string and really resist the fret wear. They sound clear and full. Not overly bright, but clear sounding, much like the difference between pond water (other strings) and tropical water (Mangans). Overall, Mangan's strings are a solid deal for what they charge. Obviously, every opinion is biased on one's point of view, but I am a happy return customer, I think they are at least worth a try.
