The perfect length of strings for my 31.5" scale bass that's strung through the body, I'm very pleased with them, from tone to tuning to tension. I saving up for a case of them now

I have a 32" scale 5 string custom built bass that I have been having problems with medium and long scale strings, until I found these string . From tension to tone these strings fit this bass guitar better then anything I have ever used . Thanks Curt Mangan for making my life easier these will be the only strings I continue to put on this bass .

I bought these strings to put them on a medium scale 5 string bass. The scale length is 32". The bass requires a wrapped length of at least 34.25 " to clear the nut. I found the E and A to be a bit shorter than the advertised wrapped length of 34.75". A quick call to Curt and he sent me out a new E and A that fit. Their customer service gets 5 stars from me. The strings themselves are a very good roundwound and provide all of the rich harmonics you expect from a roundwound. Tension felt great. Outer wrap is smooth. Little to new string squeak when new. I only have 4 or 5 hours on them but they still sound great. The good thing is that if you have a problem with them you can call and get a responsive person to help. Maybe even Curt. I will buy these again.
