Mangan Nickle wounds
l'm trying Mangans again after years of D'Addario. They're nickle wound 52, 42, 32, 22w in 'D' tuning...& l'm having good luck with them. They keep stable tuning & have solid, clear note definition...l'm glad l gave them another spin.
Great Low E for a set of 10-46
I use these to replace the 46 in a set of 10-46 as the tension of the low E 46 is all wrong which is why it often sounds flappy, it actually has a lower tension than the 36 A. A 52 gives just the right increment. Anyway that's why i use them.
