I have a 28" inch scale instrument and this string is cut a good length with plenty of wind before the taper occurs. I am and continue to be a lifetime user of GHS boomers, but they currently do not offer this gauge at 28" scale...or at least for now so Curt Mangan wins. These strings are bright, bouncy, lively and with plenty of growl to translate through the most discerning of high gain boutique guitar amps. They last a long time and can take a beating. Highly recommended.
