Who knew? I had been using another brand of coated guitar strings for years. I foolishly ordered some of them on line only to receive a bunch of "fakes"! Then I remembered that I had offered Curt Mangan strings in my own shop years ago, so I "rediscovered" them. To my surprise and delight coated electric guitar strings are now available! Let me go on to say I have to thank the fakes for leading me back. Curt Mangan Coated Electric Guitar strings are even better than my old brand in every way... Tone, Feel, and value. Plus they're packaged in sealed plastic which protects them so that you can be sure of getting a "fresh" set every time. Made here in the U.S.A. too! I have to say that I'm back to Curt Mangan for good. Just plain "Good"... no make that GREAT strings!

These strings are the best coated string I've ever used. They tune and intonate so nice and stay there. Easy playing, long life, I'm hooked. 9's on the Suhr Classic and 10's on the Duesenberg. Wish they were a little less $ but they are my only strings now.

That's it totally above the rest of all the so called supposed previous Best of the coated Strings Before. Elixir, DR's, Dean Markley etc. Forget about it. you have found the best right here. You have to be patience with these strings give them time to stretch.. i mean really stretch out and settle in .. I thought i broke the high e string a couple of times but it was just stretching out and settling in.. I will not ever put anything else on my ESP MII other than these strings!! Sold on these.. Bar None!!
