11-15-22W-30-42-52 43 inches. 80/20 Bronze wound strings are often called old-school, vintage and/or bright bronze and were the most popular alloy used to make acoustic strings until the introduction of phosphor in the early Seventies. 80/20 bronze wire is made from 80 percent copper and 20 percent zinc. 80/20 Bronze provides balanced highs and lows with a slight increase in mid-range that seems the make the notes "cut-through" a little more. It took several years of trial and error to develop a proprietary string coating the resists tarnish and corrosion without compromising tonal quality.

Amazing strings
The first time i used these strings i immediately noticed how much brighter they sounded compared to other strings brands i had used in the past. At the time i was searching for better sounding strings for my Martain acoustic and i found them.
Coated 80/20 bronze
I absolutely LOVE these strings ! I use 80/20 on my cedar/mahogany Taylor for extra brightness and Curt Mangan strings are the best acoustic strings I have found. Highly recommend !!
Coated 80/20 bronze
Like others have said, tried just about every string on the market until I tried some Curt Mangan strings. I'm in absolute heaven !!! The tone is great and well balanced and the coated 80/20 bronze bring out the mids in my 514ce that were missing before. These are simply great strings !
Strings
Great strings...I play 12-13 hours per week and thee strings lasted me > 6 months. clear bright tone, with warm, rich lows. And the coating doesn't seem to shed and peel like other strings I have used. Mangan's customer service is even better than their strings. Give them a try!

I have used every brand of strings made I believe. These strings sound amazing and stay in tune. But what really sets them apart is the coating. You don't even notice they are coated, not slippery at all, they just feel and sound like strings! These will be my string of choice until they aren't made, or someone comes out with something better, good luck. Best of all, they are made in America, and even in my neck of the woods. I love knowing that I am supporting my local economy.
