Following the completion of my 28.625" celtic style electric baritone guitar build I put on a set of D"Addarrio's. They were fine, I could have lived with them but then I tried these from Mangan. There was an obvious increase in the richness of tone and mainly how the strings range together in a more complex and desirable way. I thought they sounded the best the first couple of weeks of regular playing and then appeared to mellow out a little bit, still being very nice but perhaps relaxiing on the high frequency presesce a bit. I will likely stay with these as I was delighted with what they did for my homemade electric baritone. Very good indeed.
