9-46 12-String PhosPhor Light COATED Lenth 43 inches. Phosphor Bronze wound strings were introduced in the early Seventies and have become the most popular acoustic string. Phosphor bronze wire is made from approximately 92% copper, 7% zinc and 1% phosphorous. It took several years of trial and error to develop a proprietary string coating that resists tarnish and corrosion without compromising tonal quality. Phosphor Bronze provides nice highs and lows with pleasant subtle overtones. Phosphorous is used to help reduce tarnish and corrosion.

Like the gauging. Playing my 12 string a lot. Again. Stays in tune and sounds great
Coated light gauge bronze strings
I’ve played 12 string guitars for over 50 years. These coated lights are a dream to play, without any sacrifice to tone or projection. I’m currently using them on my vintage Guild F 312 (Brazilian ) and F 512, as well as an Ovation 12. Looking forward to checking out other offerings for my other acoustics and electrics as well!
The best sounding acoustic string...now lasting even longer!
Curt makes the best sounding acoustic strings and typically, his strings last really long time. When coated...they last even longer! The magical concoction that Curt came up with retains that "blooming" quality while providing the benefit of fewer string changes. I play every day and these still sound fresh after several months of use. Highly recommended!
Best strings I've ever used! Will never use anything else!!!
My local guitar store recommended these strings for my 12 string - said that is what all there employees use. Best my little 12 string has ever sounded by far! Was using D'Addario flat tops .. . Curt's strings have better over all tone - no tinniness with light strings, just can't say enought good! And, easy on the fingers for someone who doesn't play on a regular basis. Thank you for such a great product!
