Great Strings
I have been using Curt Mangan strings for over 15 years. I play professionally in an original alternative rock band and also write and record for television. I have over 100 credits on various television shows. Curt Mangan strings never let me down. Consistent tone, long life, excellent customer service. I wouldn't think of using any other strings.

Nickel wound
Ernie Ball user forever. Tried these on a whim and they are an improvement. I notice a consistent feel and a snappy attack but also a more balanced sound. It’s hard to describe but they just feel very stable and tuned up with little stretching and stay in tune very well. The 10-48 are a great tension for my Les Paul.

10-48 nickel steel
I absolutely love these strings. They have a nice smooth feel and seem to need less stretching than most other brands do at installation. They hold tune immediately. This gauge is perfect for my gibsons that I rotate tuning between standard or half step down. They’re great on my strats tuned a half step down also. A nice blend of 10 and 11 sets. They’re keepers!
