Round Core PBs
I finally found a minty Martin 00DB-Jeff Tweedy, deep bod all mahogany. Not a PB player for the most part, but the Pearse nickel I strung it with turned it into a subdued, woody, but balanced guitar. The line on these is that they are actually the opposite in tone. After a few days, I swapped out for the CM round cores. What I got was a great result, lively, louder, balanced and articulate. I'm going to start them in rotation with other guitars, in that never ending cyclone of tone chasing.
Best sounding strings
These strings sound the absolute best on my Gallagher Slope dreadnaught! The round core seems to make them last a while longer and add some warmth and depth to the bass strings. Love them!!
13 - 56 Round Core Phosphor Bronze
Hands down the best strings - either acoustic or electric - I have found after 30 years of professional playing. There is no comparison.
.13 - .56 Roundcore Acoustic
Amazing strings and unmatched quality. The band noticed the difference immediately. My go-to acoustic never sounded so good.
