Best for hard to find strings
Got a set of these for my (new to me) Waterstone 34” TP signature 12 String Bass. They tuned up easy, and the tone is a noticeable improvement over the Waterstone brand strings it came with. The strings feel smooth on the fingers and make this beast of an instrument easy to play. You’ve got a loyal customer. I may have to start using Curt Mangan strings on all of my guitars and basses.

A good set of 12-string basses should make the instrument ring like a piano without being muddy, and these do just that.
Outstanding 12 string bass set!
These are the best 12 string bass strings available. I have owned several 12 and 8 string basses over the years and tried many brands of multi-string sets including Zon, Hamer, D'Addario, Labella, SIT., etc. Curt Mangan's surpass them all in quality of feel, tension and great musical tone. They have a nice playability that the others lacked and they ring true like a grand piano. The tension and sound are fantastic! The other brands at this meaty gauge felt far too taunt. I'm happy I discovered this brand of string because it honestly makes my Hamer B12L Chaparral 12 string basses play and sound better than ever before. I can't see how anyone would be disappointed in these strings. They're killer!
