This gauge is unique. Like the Martin 12.5 that sounds like 13 but plays like 12, this 11.5 sounds like 12 but plays like 11. Best of all, 11s sustain more than 12. They also sound nicer and less 'noisy.' Not all brands are made equal but this 11.5 is perfected. Not flabby.
