Monel (aka Nickel Bronze) has built in natural resistance to tarnish and corrosion yet it feels great to the touch and has its own unique tonal color. Monel is 67% pure nickel, 30% copper and about 3% of special sauce that makes it Monel. For lack of a better term, it sounds earthy. Great for blues and bluegrass. Monel is naturally resistant to salt water (sweat) yet feels real good.
